Having read some bad reviews we arrived with an open mind and so glad we did. The welcome was warm and as our room was ready we were allowed to check in early. The reception/bar/lounge/dining area is quirky. I loved their use of old books🤣. The food was absolutely fine too. Not a fine dining experience but not fine dining prices. A good selection of drinks at the bar. Our room although smaller than some airport hotels was more than large enough for a one night stay. The beds are so very comfortable and the pillows perfect. The price we paid was low season prices but would happily choose to stay here in the high season. Each and everyone of the staff were a credit to the hotel. When we arrived our feet were a bit muddy due to the weather outside and although we wiped them we made marks on the floor as the guy was cleaning it. He just laughed, I couldn't do that job as I would hit anyone who dared to mess with my floor. Without exception all the staff were super friendly and helpful.

From entering to check in the hotel was bright spacious and with a modern vibe, checking in at bar was fine as there is a designated part to do this, check in staff were very friendly and helpful, I was on floor three my room was a perfect size a double bed very comfy tv on wall an open style wardrobe with hangers and a good shower and bathroom with shampoo and conditioner provided, nice fluffy white towels, coffee and tea provided with kettle all in all a fab hotel with roomy public areas and also served food and a well stocked bar which unfortunately this time I did not use as I had an early flight next morning. I have already recommended to friends and family.

The Property as you enter is very quirky and not like any other places I have stayed in, on both occasions of staying the place was buzzing with clients enjoying their food, drink and facilities provided. Exceptional hospitality the staff were excellent, facilities very clean and room had everything to make you feel welcome, bathroom bijou but perfect size, lighting was excellent and there was even a night light under the bed which came on as soon as you got up allowing you to go to bathroom with our fumbling for a light switch…..bus stop right outside of the hotel or pre book taxi …

The staff were friendly, polite and efficient. We were each offered a token to get a free cocktail from the bar, which was a nice surprise, unfortunately when we went to the bar it was only a gin cocktail. Not being gin drinkers we just gave the tokens away. The rooms were basic but nice, the bed was very comfortable, bathroom was small but the shower was great, powerful and heated up quickly. Tea and coffee available in the room. We weren’t there for any mealtimes but I’d imagine they’d be quite expensive as the drinks from the bar were quite pricey

Debbie

The bed was soft and comfortable! I also liked the lighting under the bed, which turned on automatically when you put your feet on the floor. The transport links from Edinburgh to the hotel are excellent. The bus (Airlink 100) leaves the city centre every ten minutes and stops in front of the hotel. Edinburgh Airport is about a ten-minute walk from the hotel.
